Join us this week for the second part of our DNA Series, where we talk about building authentic community. Basically, what does it mean for us to be a church? We look to Acts 2:41-47, to look at the early church and how they answered this question, and how we use the gospel as the center for building a church body that is committed to each other.

This week we start our DNA series, looking at what makes our church tick, and why did 21 people move their lives to Roanoke, Virginia to plant a church? We look to 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, to look at one of our core values, being gospel centered, and how we use the gospel as the center for everything we do.

In our last message of the Masterpiece series, we look at Ephesians 6 and what's normally called spiritual warfare. Paul is basically summarizing his entire letter here, not starting a new topic. We see that we have an enemy who is spiritual, and God gives us armor that is spiritual to fight the evil in our lives and the world. Let's fight, side by side in the church, by the power of the Holy Spirit!

This week we look at Ephesians 4 and 5 and talk about what being a Christian looks like. Paul shows us that one, our mind that affects our will, emotions, and actions and two, that being a Christian is imitating God from the inside out.

This week we are looking at Ephesians 5. Marriage was created to be a picture of unity between Jesus and the church. Paul shows us what submission looks like, and that marriage is about Gods mission not about us.

This week we hear from our Ministries Director, Jacob Thomas, talk about the growing body of the church. The goal of the church is to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.

This week we hear guest speaker, Neeko Williams, talk about God's mystery in the gospel. The church is God's masterpiece and it exists to bring the outsider in, through God's powerful grace, and ultimately for God's glory.

This week we are looking at chapter 2 of Ephesians and how the church is God's masterpiece! He shows us that God gave us the gift of salvation, and we're saved from eternal death to eternal life with God and one another in Christ for ever!

Looking at Paul's prayers for the Ephesian church in chapters 1:15-23 and 3:14-21 we see that he wants them to know God's power in their lives! He's praying that they experience and be strengthened by God's power in this life. Let's pray the same thing for our church and Jesus-followers all over the world!

We're starting a new message series in Ephesians today! We're God's masterpiece, and we'll see from Ephesians 1:1-14 that we're "predestined for adoption" into God's family.
