In week one of the Pharisees series we tackled the 7 woes (or the 7 ugghhhs) Jesus gave to the Pharisees and we talked about hypocrisy. And we ask the question, "how much Pharisee do I have in me?"
God could have used thousands, but he used only a few hundred. Through their faithfulness, however, he accomplished his plans. He didn't need thousands... he needed only a faithful few. A few who would say, "word is bond" and live their words.
What do you fear? Here's another question... what SHOULD you fear? And what should you fear more than you do? Listen in on week two of the Gideon sermon with Craig Bodenschatz at the helm.
In this series opener Jon-Michael preaches on who the Judges are. This fundamental sermon is more than just fundamentals and it's one you don't want to miss.
Sometimes in our life, we face the same test over and over again because we fail that test over and over again. Israel understood that. They failed a test once, but 40 years later they got it right. May we not take 40 years to pass this test. The test is here, and we need to pass it... now. Join in on the last week of the series, Other Side.
If you’re not having a head on collision with Satan then you are driving in the same direction he is. Jesus walked right into a head on collision with Satan in The Dacapolis, and so will we. Don't be surprised when opposition comes in your life, but rather revel in it because often it means you are on the right path and heading in the right direction.
Redemption is on "This Side" but we need to get to the "Other Side." Redemption is raising the funds necessary to buy or build a building. And why are we doing this? Why should you be all in on this? Because we are building a generational well of love and truth for a world that lives in the absence of both.
Redemption is on "This Side" but we need to get to the "Other Side." How do we get to the Other Side? Through the Red Sea. The Red Sea for Redemption is raising the funds necessary to buy or build a building. This is a "day" and sermon that you will remember forever.
This Easter, we looked at the story of Peter. That is our story. A story of running from Jesus and returning to him. A story of our sin and his forgiveness. A story of our failure and his redemption. God is good! He is risen!
The beginning of this episode Pastor Cory makes some comments about the Nashville school shooting at Covenant Christian School as a heads-up. The rest of the sermon is about Jesus... friend of humans (sinners.)
