In a broken and imperfect world, what does it look like to be a people of reconciliation? Jesus doesn’t task us with reconciling the world, but with inhabiting the reconciliation he has already accomplished. Doing so will mean embracing a politic which cuts against everything we know about politics. It will be good. It will be beautiful. And it will be really hard.
