Look at the birds of the air...Consider the flowers of the field...You are more valuable than they are and look how your Father cares for them.

"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matthew 6:33-34

Keep your focus on the heavenly treasure.

"lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:20-21

"your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

"Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect."

The law is meant to point us much higher than the supposed righteousness of the Pharisees, to the perfection of our heavenly Father.
