The Post by Redemption | Episode 21 | The Don’t Say Gay / Parental Rights Bill

In this episode, we talk about the heart of God.  We've all got preconceived notions about who God really is and how He really feels about us but does it align with scripture?  We'll talk about the motivations behind the series and share some of our own misconceptions.  We'll also meet Charles Kirby - our new Church Planting Resident who has been a guest on previous episodes.

In this episode we continue our discussion on what we believe about Jesus.  The goal is to take theology and make it practical to everyday life - hopefully we got close to accomplishing this.

Oh yes, and we talk about oldies!

In this episode, we find a new friend in Charles Kirby who joins us for the first time.  We dive into the first installment of a discussion we're calling '7 Keys to Christological Orthodoxy'.  I know, it doesn't sound super entertaining but it's actually pretty interesting and quite relevant to the world we're living in.  What do you NEED to believe about Jesus to be a Christian?  We'll try to sort that out for you and show you why it's difficult for some people to accept.

Also, we talk about forts.  The cool kind.  The kind you built as a kid.

Sin can be a touchy subject to deal with.  It can bring up shame and, in general, is just not a fun thing to think about.  But how does it affect our relationship with God and how can reflecting on our sin and confessing sin actually bring a deeper more meaningful relationship with God?

In this episode we convince Josh to try wordle.  It doesn't last very long though.  Also (and more importantly) we dig into 1 John 2 and it's warning about an antichrist and even many antichrists.  What does it mean and what does it all look like!
