Rediscovering Ohio

Drove to one of my favorite places in Ohio and didn’t realize the island would be deserted in late November. Great place for beautiful, glaciery nature and water snakes (LEWS). Some of my fav views in all of Ohio. Took the ferry from Marblehead and got bounced from JJ’s Table and Bar in Lakeside Marblehead. Oh, call places ahead of time or look online to make sure they’re open 👍🏻.

Ate a delicious pepperoni pizza and salad from Luigi’s and then walked around the North Side District later in the week. Walked along the Towpath trail in different directions and enjoyed the Lil Cuyahoga even knowing about the feces and bacteria. Lock 15, plz answer your phone next time. (Ended up going to Popeye’s, which is great, but not).

Hit up 4 places on State Rd: Funny Stop Comedy Club, Handel’s, Blue Door, and Arthur Treacher’s. Maybe bit off more than I can chew with this episode but used a new style with segments. Someone give cash app me so that I can afford to keep eating out all the time!

Decided to start the ole podcast up again. Expect it weekly (on Monday). Had a nice drive down 585 to Wooster and spent the day at Oak Hill Park, Wooster College (sort of), downtown (including Books In Stock Used and Rare Books and Broken Rocks Cafe and Bakery).

Had DiGiorno during the Browns playoff victory. Starting a weight loss contest and getting over Covid 19. How do people decide what they should pursue artistically while also working a job and having a family?? Tell me!

Cult favorite and deconstructed take on pizza via Ohio Valley (originally Steubenville). First time trying it and felt like it was worth an episode due to its unique style. Located in the Valley, technically in Akron.

I blab too much about some bullshit that happened to our dogs and then talk about a cool, little restaurant in Highland Square. Get the ramen!
