En: In front of the cathedral, the faithful were gathering, ready to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption.
Hr: Nekoliko koraka iza njega stajali su Maja i Petar.

Hr: Maja je nosila plavu haljinu, dok je Petar imao bijelu košulju.
En: Maja wore a blue dress, while Petar had on a white shirt.
Hr: Oboje su bili uzbuđeni zbog današnjeg posjeta.
En: Both were excited about today's visit.
Hr: No, Ivan je osjećao drugačije.
En: However, Ivan felt differently.
Hr: Nepovezano.
En: Disconnected.
Hr: Tijekom godina, izgubio je osjećaj pripadnosti.
En: Over the years, he had lost his sense of belonging.
En: He felt like a stranger in his own country.
En: "Today is a special day," Maja said, looking towards the spires.
Hr: "Velika Gospa je svečani trenutak.
En: "The Feast of the Assumption is a solemn moment."
Hr: "Ivan je kimnuo.
En: Ivan nodded.
Hr: "Da, veličanstveno je.
En: "Yes, it's magnificent."
Hr: " Ali iznutra je osjećao drugačije.
En: But inside, he felt differently.
Hr: Nešto mu je nedostajalo.
En: Something was missing for him.
Hr: Nadolazeće svečano zvono možda bi moglo donijeti promjenu.
En: Perhaps the upcoming ceremonial bell might bring about a change.
En: As they entered the cathedral, he felt the coldness of the stone walls.
Hr: Intrigirala ga je unutrašnjost - prozori s vitrajima, veliki oltar, miris tamjana.
En: He was intrigued by the interior - stained glass windows, the large altar, the scent of incense.
Hr: Koračajući naprijed, poželio je pronaći smisao.
En: Walking forward, he wished to find meaning.
Hr: Misa je započela.
En: The mass began.
Hr: Crkveni zbor pjevao je himne, a Ivan je zatvorio oči.
En: The church choir sang hymns, and Ivan closed his eyes.
En: The sounds took him on a journey through memories, tradition, and roots.
En: As the minutes passed, he began to reflect on his life.
En: The question arose of where he had lost connection to who he was.
Hr: U tom trenutku, dok su zvona katedrale odjekivala, Ivan je doživio nešto neočekivano.
En: In that moment, as the cathedral bells echoed, Ivan experienced something unexpected.
Hr: Osjetio je mir.
En: He felt peace.
Hr: Osjetio je pripadnost.
En: He felt belonging.
En: His eyes opened, and his heart felt lighter.
Hr: U gužvi vjernika, pronašao je sebe.
En: In the crowd of the faithful, he found himself.
En: His connection to his roots was real, and tradition was not just a custom but a part of him.
En: After the mass, Maja asked, "How do you feel, Ivane?"
Hr: "Ivan se nasmiješio.
En: Ivan smiled.
Hr: "Bolje", odgovorio je, srdačno.
En: "Better," he replied warmly.
Hr: "Osjećam se povezanije.
En: "I feel more connected.
Hr: Kao da pripadam.
En: As if I belong."
En: Petar lightly tapped him on the shoulder.
Hr: "Uvijek si pripadao, samo si to trebao ponovno otkriti.
En: "You always belonged, you just needed to rediscover it."
En: Zagreb that day became more than a hometown.
Hr: Bio je dom.
En: It was home.
En: Ivan knew he would live his life with more attention to his heritage, with more patience towards himself, and with newly found peace.
En: As they left the cathedral, Ivan felt a new, fresh breeze.
En: He promised himself that his life would be infused with tradition and love for his country.
