Christ is our daily bread who satisfies our eternal, spiritual need. When daily life distracts us from our relationship with God, the enemy can creep in. Practice thanksgiving, honor your relationship, and trust Him for tomorrow.

It’s the tenth plague over Egypt and God is going to set His people free. But, how He does that is a critical part of the story. Passover and the feast of the unleavened bread are not just for the Israelites, but preparing us for Jesus.

A fight has been building between God and Pharaoh for the future of the Hebrew people. God could have taken one knock out punch and it would have been over.  But in this fight he wanted to teach the world something about himself.

As Moses responds in obedience to God, things don’t go the way he expects. In fact, things got worse.  Moses experiences disappointment and frustration with God.  If you are or have been in a similar place, this part of Exodus will encourage you.

As God calls Moses to confront Pharaoh, he comes up with every excuses he can think of.  We can do the same thing as God calls us forward.  This encounter is a great way to be reminded our excuses before God will always fall apart.

The birth of Moses was in the middle of a painful and difficult season for the Hebrews.  Yet God was not absent from them.  He was already unfolding a plan to deliver them. 

We want out soldiers to be outfitted with the very best technology. God too has given every believer what you need to stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. You just have to make sure you put it on.

Where you walk matters. Staying on the path of Jesus and following his example is critical.  Paul instructed these believers to walk on love, walk in the light, and walk with wisdom.

Certain moments of our lives cause us to reflect on how we arrived at this point, especially when we find ourselves distant from God and broken by sin.  Paul gives us an idea how that progression happens and what God did to rescue us from ourselves.
