Pastor Brian continued his series, "His Mission - Our Mission," with a message on destroying Satan's work and not giving the enemy an opportunity to thrive in our lives. This sermon came from 1 John 3:8 and John 10:7-18. We apologize for not posting the messages from September 2nd and 9th. Pastor Brian continued his series, "His Mission - Our Mission," with a message on restoring the sight of the blind. The world around us are spiritually blind and are trying to navigate through life in the darkness, but God has called us to be their sight and to restore their sight so that they can see the glory of God. But, we are not exempt from being blind ourselves. We can often be blind to what the Spirit is showing us and there are times that we put our own perspection of who God is and it creates a blindness from what God wants to show us. The scripture for this message came from Luke 4:16-21 and Acts 26:12-18. We hope and pray that you've been enjoying this series and these messages. We are called to do more than just send money to organizations locally, nationally and globally that take care of the poor. We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. The main scripture for this week's call came from Luke 4:16-21 and Luke 18:35-43.

Pastor Garrett gave a recap and insight into what they experienced during the youth group's recent mission trip to Wheelwright, Kentucky. He gave a background to Big Creek Missions and the town of Wheelwright, Kentucky. Some of the students and other leaders gave their testimonies and shared about their experiences on the recent trip. To all those who bought apple pies or spaghetti dinners or gave financially specifically to the youth group, we want to say thank you. Without you, we wouldn't have had the finances to go and experience what we experienced. Thank you!

Pastor Brian continued the series, "His Mission - Our Mission," with a message about seeking out and saving the lost. Pastor Brian used the story of the woman at the well that find in John 4:1-26. Use this message as a means of encouragement as we go through the work week and seek to do everything that we can to bring Him the glory.

Appliances are useless we read and understand the instruction manual and the same thing can be said about our walk with God. We are useless unless we read and understand the instruction manual known as the Bible. Continue with us as we continue to examine His mission and allow it to become Our mission.

Pastor Brian started a new series called, "His Mission - Our Mission." This is going to be a series where we will hear messages about connecting the mission of Jesus Christ with the mission of His church. This first message is coming to us from the book of Luke. The Book family came to our church to share about their experiences as missionaries in Thailand. They spoke from the passage of Hosea 2:14-15. They talked about having an encounter with God in the desert. Be encouraged by their message and continue to pray for them as they venture back to Thailand next month to help serve the people.
