Happy new year, Reds! Si Hughes and James Pearce are alongside Tony Evans to look back on the xG-tastic win over Newcastle that saw Klopp's side start 2024 at the top of the table. Yes, Mo Salah's off to AFCON for a few weeks, but - unlike a year ago - the squad looks more than equipped to cope with even his absence (and the transfer window's just opened, so Mbappe's on his way, right?).

With that in mind, the gang look forward to a challenging and exciting 12 months ahead, which starts this weekend, with a trip to Arsenal in the FA Cup on Sunday, and then a League Cup semi-final at home to Fulham on Tuesday.
