What does it mean to be a non-traditional dental school applicant?
We are going to cover all of that and more in today’s podcast where I interviewed incoming Midwestern University in Arizona Dental Student, Madai Perez.
As a native Cuban, Madai moved to the United States at a young age. Her parents made many enormous sacrifices for her family that has allowed Madai to pursue her dreams of becoming a dentist.
I’m so grateful for those sacrifices and for Madai’s character as she has completely inspired me through both her kindness and resiliency. I know that she will do the same for you.
So, if you’re worried about not making it into dental school right away or as planned, fear not. Madai carries with her the perspective that getting accepted into dental school isn’t a matter of IF, but when. The “when” might require pursuing an alternate route, but that’s why she joined me today on the podcast.
You will see that these alternate routes aren’t only extremely doable, but they are also so valuable. The only thing required is that you don’t give up.
