092 - The Rocketeer with Jason Croxon

When you combine certain ingredients such as a dashing hero, a sultry starlet, and a dastardly villain you have the necessary components for a great tale of heroism. The Rocketeer certainly has all that going for it. But we're not sure why this movie didn't reach the heights it's protagonist, Cliff Secord aimed for.

089 - Captain America

We had no idea what to expect when we got to Captain America (1990). We knew there'd be fake ears, sure. But does this movie live up to its reputation as being a bad movie? Or would there be moments of heroics punching their way out of the dark like so many star-spangled fists? Maybe it's a bit of both. Either way, we had fun talking about this movie that never quite made its way to the big screen.

Be sure to stick around at the end to hear a shocking revelation from Travis that nearly broke Patrick's brain. Sound off in the Facebook group with your thoughts.

Featured in this episode is an audio essay about Captain America by former guest of the show, Sean Malloy. Check out Sean's Dolph Lundgren podcast: I Must Break (This Podcast)

088 - Predator 2 with Rory M. Spence

It's time to go back into the jungles of 1997 Los Angeles and ride along with Lieutenant Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) to stop a gang war from further destroying LA. Oh and there's an 8 foot tall monster helping him and/or hurting him along the way. We watched Predator 2 with our old buddy Rory M. Spence and we think you should check it out too!

RoboCop 2. What a movie! This is a movie jam-packed with so many characters and ideas that it sometimes feels like it gets in its own way, but there is a lot to love about this glorious mess of a movie.
