The Alfred Hitchcock directed iconic "Pyscho" (12:42); with Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh to the frame by frame remake in 1998 starring Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche.

On this Episode Tom and Bert discuss 2 more Classic Movies of the 1980's, "Back to the Future" and "Trading Places".

We cover the behind the scenes happenings and how the decisions impacted the films as they were being cast and produced.

"BTTF" (1:10) a 1985 Film starring Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson was a Fantasy/Comedy/Drama that burst onto the scene and captivated audiences, young and old, with the concept of reliving your  past by travelling "back" to the future and attempting to change the course of events in one's lives.

"Trading Places" (26:20) a 1983 Film starring Eddie Murphy, Dan Akroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis was a Comedy/Drama that was Eddie's  breakout movie. Known for his Stand Up Comedy routines, his Cable TV Specials and his starring role on the improv TV Show NBC's  "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) he was taking his career in another direction.

Along with his fellow SNL Alum, Dan Akroyd, they and other castmates acted out the story as old as time, Poor man taken off the streets and put into the Hoi Polloi's High Society and countering that with taking the Spoiled Rich Kid from his Regal Throne to the streets to see what the outcome would be on their lives and if a change of fortune would enhance their lives and make them feel more appreciative. 

These are 2 of the Best Movies of the 1980's so sit back and take it all in.

On this episode Tom and Bert cover Movies - "Alien" and Lethal Weapon" with little known facts about the Production, Filming and behind the scenes drama.

"in Space no one can hear you Scream"! This was the famous tagline for "Alien" a 1979 SciFi/Horror/Thriller that brought  back memories of the SciFi Classics of the 1950's with their taut, pulsating, suspenseful Storylines.

Starring Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skeritt and John Hurt, "Alien" was a rousing success and moviegoers were horrified by the infamous and iconic "Chest Burster" scene (13:31) with John Hurt having a tad bit of indigestion to say the least.

"Lethal Weapon" (37:16) a 1987  Film is our 2nd movie to review and discuss.  "LW" was a comedy/Drama using the tried and true format of the "buddy movie" starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in the lead roles playing cops with their own personal demons while fighting off the bad guys.

At a crossroads Riggs (Gibson) and Murtaugh (Glover) had some crazy shit going down. Riggs was suicidal  while Murtaugh was ready to retire and was getting to old for this shit as he bluntly puts it. Anyway, fireworks ensue as the boys go about their daily lives fighting off the criminals.

Starting off with Jack Nicholson's memorable improv line of "Here's Johnny" (6:06) in the classic horror film "The Shining" to Heath Ledger's "Slow Clap" (8:34) as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" and Roy Scheider's "You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat" (12:31)
in the 1975 Summer Blockbuster "Jaws" the guys cover these famous actors/actresses who ad-libbed the lines and moments as they went off script to create cinematic gold!

Others that were big time classics include Michael Madson as Mr. Blonde in Quentin Tarantino's directorial debut in "Reservoir Dogs"speaking into the severed ear of a policeman he was torturing saying, "Hey what's going on? You hear that"! (16:40) to Capo Peter Clemenza played by Richard Castellano in "The Godfather" who is on his way to whack his underling Paulie and when the deed is done says to his other associate, "Leave the Gun, take the Cannoli" (25:02) and Meg Ryan's classic scene where she fakes an orgasm in a restaurant in "When Harry met Sally" and an elderly customer, played by Estelle Reiner, is placing an order and says "I'll have what she's having" (35:53)
