My guest is Carole Ita White. She started out her career with episodic TV and small film roles in the early 1970s and has worked alongside such legends as John Astin, Mickey Rooney, and Milton Berle. She’s made appearances on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Starsky & Hutch, The Love Boat, Beverly Hills, 90210, The Wayans Bros., and Profiler. And had roles in films such as The Witches of Eastwick and The Fabulous Baker Boys. She’s probably most remembered as one of my favorite characters, Big Rosie Greenbaum on Laverne & Shirley. My guest today -- OMG, I’m so excited -- is Carole Ita White!

Welcome to Episode #34 of Reel Travels! I'm your host Lisa Iannucci and I'm also the author of On Location: A Film and TV Lover's Travel Guide (available through OblongBooks.com). Today we talk about where I live -- in New York's Hudson Valley and how the area has become popular for film and television production. Laurent Rejto, director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission, talks about all of the shows and movies that have been filmed here, including Mark Ruffalo's I Know This Much is True, as well as The Avengers, Billions, and The Quiet Place. It's a great conversation and by the time it's over, you're going to want to book your next trip to this beautiful and historic Hudson Valley area.
Thank you so much for listening. Please leave me a rating, or share the podcast. I love what I do and I hope you do too.
Welcome to Episode 33 of Reel Travels. I’m your host Lisa Iannucci and author of On Location: A Film & TV Lover’s Travel Guide today is a shorter episode because it’s just little ol’ me talking about some things I wanted you to know about film festivals and film and television travel.

Welcome to Reel Travels Episode #32. My name is Lisa Iannucci and I am the host of the show and the author of On Location: A Film & TV Lover's Travel Guide (please buy it from Oblong Books online). This week, I take a slight turn from the regular format of the show to talk about one of the hottest shows on Netflix right now, Ozark. My husband, Ej "The Rainmaker" Garr is the guest and that's because the two of us binged three seasons in 10 days! Of course, if you're a fan of the show, you'll love hearing about where you can visit, but we also talk about our favorite characters, who we wish didn't get killed off and the final episode of Season Three. There are spoilers, just so you know.
So Ozark fans, get comfortable and listen to our take on the show. Let me know yours!
