  • 95: Where Would You Go? Myrtle Beach.
Lisa’s pick is the wonderful 1998, October Sky, starring Jake Gyllenhall, Chris Cooper, and Laura Dern. Based on a true story, this film tells the story of Homer Hickham, a 17-year-old from Coalwood, West Virginia, in 1957, who discovers a love for rocketry. With an incredible score, and great acting, it’s obvious from the beginning of this episode that both sisters LOVED rewatching this film. But it’s so much more than that. Listen now to find out why!

It’s another Triviasode! And this week Lisa’s chosen a favourite of from the late 90’s. Who’s up for a historical coming-of-age drama that’s also based on a true story? These gals! Is this a film you’ll know? It didn’t do well at the box office so odds are…unlikely? Listen and find out which movie Pauline and Lisa will be talking about next!

  • 93: You Remind Me of the Babe
Are you ready for one of the most random movies the sisters have watched so far? Welcome to a discussion of Jim Henson’s 1986 film, “Labyrinth”. Starring a very young Jennifer Connelly and the fantastical David Bowie. This one is definitely a Lisa pick. How will Pauline fair with this bizarre and nonsensical film? Is it worth the rewatch? Or should this one have stayed trapped in the memory of childhood? Listen and find out!

  • 92.5 Triviasode: You Remind Me Of The Babe
The sisters are back! And it’s Lisa’s turn to pick the movie and she has chosen a very unique cult-classic 80’s film. Can you guess what the movie is before Pauline does? And will Pauline be excited for Lisa’s pick? Listen and find out!

  • 92: One More Word Out of You and I Will Strangle You With This Microphone Wire.
Break out the shoulder pads and ready the hairspray because this week the sisters are watching 1998’s homage to the 80’s, “The Wedding Singer”. Starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, this romantic comedy was one of the favourites of Pauline and Lisa at the perfect ages of 12 and 13. There’s no doubt this film has flaws (obviously), but does it have redeeming qualities? Do the sisters recommend it? Listen and find out!
