Hey guys! I need to share with you something important and very sudden that I didn’t have planned before we get into today’s episode. You will understand this more as you listen to this episode with Jordan Raynor, but I’ve decided to make this the last running episode for the Refine and Restore podcast. It’s definitely bittersweet. I’ve SO enjoyed the process of sharing podcast episodes, guests and content with you all. It was definitely good for a season. But recently, I had been feeling the pull to complete this podcast earlier than I had planned and it’s all because of the recent early copy of a book I read by Jordan Raynor called Master of One, along with confirmation in prayer with God. You know when you have a good thing you can do but it doesn’t give room to the one thing that God is asking you to do that is going to be that much better? Yeah, that’s me right now in this season. So, keep listening to this episode with Jordan because maybe it will make you think hard about where you’re at in life and whether or not you are where God wants you in this season of life.

But let me tell you a bit about Jordan Raynor before we go into today’s podcast episode. Jordan Raynor is a serial entrepreneur and national bestselling author who helps Christians do their most exceptional work for the glory of God and the good of others. His book, Called to Create, became an instant bestseller when it was released in November 2017. His next book, Master of One, will be released in January 2020. In addition to his writing, Jordan serves as the Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, a venture-backed tech startup that has built the world's largest library of 360° experiences of hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Jordan previously served as CEO of the company, following a string of successful ventures of his own. Jordan has twice been selected as a Google Fellow and served in The White House under President George W. Bush. A highly sought-after public speaker on the topic of faith and work, Jordan has spoken at Harvard University, SXSW, TEDx, and many other high-profile events around the world. A sixth-generation Floridian, Jordan lives in Tampa with his wife and their two young daughters.

This is one of my favorite episodes where we dig into the topic of calling and purpose and how your ministry can be at home with the kids, at church, or creating products as a serial entrepreneur. As long as you are doing it for the glory of God and loving others in the process, that’s all that really matters.

Many of us have phrases that we are repeating in our heads over and over again that are not only healthy, but lies that we are believing in about ourselves. We don’t think much of this because it feels normal. But I want to encourage you today to listen closely to the thoughts and phrases in your mind that you are saying about yourself and ask yourself, are these healthy thoughts and are they really true?

Welcome back to the R&R Podcast friends, I cannot believe that it’s been 1 full year since I launched this podcast and what an amazing year of growth it’s been for those of you who have been following along each episode. I can’t wait for October 8th when it becomes available for you to have in your hands, although I do have about 300 early readers in my launch team with books and can I just share with you a few things they’ve said about it so far? We are wrapping up this interview blitz week with today’s guest Gretchen Saffles founder of the large ministry organization Well Watered Women. She’s also the creator of “Give Me Jesus” Journal. She is passionate about encouraging and equipping women to dig deep into the Word of God and find their identity and purpose in Christ. Through Well-Watered Women, she longs to meet women right where they are with the hope of the gospel and to ignite a desire in their hearts to know Jesus more. On any given day you can find her with a coffee cup in hand, her boys by her side, a message stirring in her soul, and a God-sized dream on her heart. Gretchen lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Greg, and her two sons, Nolan and Haddon.

My next guest for this weeks speaker blitz week is Shari Rigby. I met Shari recently in person and I can tell you she is the real deal you guys. She’s down to earth, has a deep heart for Jesus, and is always looking for ways to help others. Shari is an actress, director, writer and inspirational speaker, outspoken and passionate about her faith and family. She has appeared in “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” as well as in the feature films NOT TODAY, which received seven awards including an IFFF Spirit Award and Best Justice Film, and OCTOBER BABY, named one of the “Top 15 Impressive Box Office Performances of 2012” by CNN. Shari founded “The Women in My World,” a women’s group focusing on identity, purpose, ministry, serving others and living life in Hollywood. You may have heard of a new movie coming out titled Overcomer. Well Shari is one of the lead main roles of this movie and I can tell you personally from a private viewing I had of this movie it is worth attending to see! It releases August 23rd so grab your tickets now and make it a family night to enjoy together! Shari and her husband, Matt, have been married 21 years and have two sons.

We dig into the topic of identity in this episode, especially when it comes to marriage and being a strong woman with passionate desires and dreams. Today I brought my guest Lindsay Teague Moreno onto the podcast. Lindsay is an author, podcaster, and business owner. In just two short years she built a seven-figure personal income, using only social media. Lindsay did this with three little girls at home and all the mom duties that come along with it. Having spent a considerable amount of time building multiple profitable businesses, she has gone through her share of ups and downs.
