Refined by grace

Hello again! So many achievements of which we feel we should be proud of or be acknowledged for, rightfully so. But where do we draw the line between being prideful; that leads to offence and then into sin than just being proud of ourselves. Nevertheless, God has called us to be humble. Humble yourselves before the Lord & He will lift you up (James 4:10 ) . In today's episode we cover the book of Esther 3:5-6 & Daniel 4:31-37 of some of the people who were prideful. Every good gift that we have comes from God, James 1:17. He then entrusts us with them. He has grace for us which refines us. As we share a few verses in addition to 2 Corinthians 10:5 ~ Demolish arguments & every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God; & we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
