This week we continue our series on the Five Marks of Mission, as we think about the fifth mark, which can be summarised as "Treasure".  The reading is from Colossians 1:15 - 20 and we are thinking about the importance of caring for our world, which was created through Jesus.  The hymn is "All things bright and beautiful".

This week we continue our series on the Five Marks of Mission, as we think about the fourth mark, which can be summarised as "Transform".  The reading is from Luke 4:14 - 21 and we are thinking about the importance of working to change or challenge injustice, violence and conflicts.  The hymn is "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound".

This week we continue our series on the Five Marks of Mission, as we think about the second mark, which can be summarised as "Teach".  The reading is from Luke 5:1 - 11 and we are thinking about the importance of following Jesus, learning from him, as well as nurturing and encouraging the faith of those around us.  The worship song is based on Psalm 23 - "The Lord's My Shepherd" by Stuart Townend.

This week we continue to remember the life and faith of Queen Elizabeth II, and her service of others.  She did so as she followed Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, who calls us to serve one another.  Our reading for this week is Philippians 2:1 - 11 and the worship song this week is, "The Servant King".

This week we reflect on Psalm 145 as we remember the sudden and unexpected death of Queen Elizabeth II, and her personal and sincere faith in Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.  Our hymn this week is one of the Queen's favourite hymns, "Praise, My Soul, The King of Heaven".

This week we are beginning a five week series on the Five Marks of Mission, as we think about the first mark, which can be summarised as "Tell".  The reading is from Romans 10:13 - 18 and it helps us to think about the importance of sharing the good news of Jesus and his love for us with people through our words and actions.  The worship song follows on from our reflection, as it begins with the words, "How lovely on the mountains are the feet of Him who brings good news."

This week we are reflecting on "Self-Control" as we think about God's power and strength in us.  This is the conclusion of our series looking at the fruit of the Spirit.  Our reading is from Ephesians 3:14 - 21 and the hymn is "All to Jesus I Surrender".
