I'm so thankful that God loves us enough to call us back when we drift away, to correct us when we go astray, and to wake us up when we've hit the spiritual snooze button too many times. .
My prayer is that the Lord will use this episode to encourage someone who needs to wake up spiritually, return to Him, or find the courage to share the truth in love.
Friends- if there is something you've been praying about and God seems silent, hang in there. Keep watching, Keep waiting, Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. And most of all- Keep praising! And when you don't know what else to do, remember what God has already done.
Hey friends, this is Cindy Nick—welcome to Reflections from My Morning Walk, where everyday moments are stitched together by God’s grace, and even the smallest pieces become part of a beautiful, purposeful design.
Have you ever talked yourself out of a miracle?
A few days ago, I was driving home from work on a familiar two-lane highway—the kind of road you travel so often you almost stop noticing it. Most days, it’s uneventful. Predictable. Safe.
Until it wasn’t.
A simple bowl of pinto beans and cornbread became so much more than a meal—it was an invitation to faith, love, and legacy. In this episode of Reflections from My Morning Walk, Cindy shares how her Nana’s quiet faith and daily prayers shaped generations. Pull up a chair and be reminded: the seeds you plant today can grow into something eternal.
Many times in my life, I’ve tried to go around difficult situations or avoid them altogether. I pray for the easier path, the quick solution, or the way that requires the least struggle. But sometimes God’s plan is not to take me around the challenge—but to lead me through it.
How often do we avoid places, people, or memories because they remind us of where we were wounded? Yet God has a remarkable way of redeeming what once caused that pain. In today's episode, we discover how God doesn't always erase the scars, but He gives them a new purpose- finding beauty in broken places.
The last few days, I’ve been thinking about what it means to be connected—not just technologically, but spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Because here’s the truth: you can be sitting right next to someone and still feel completely disconnected.
The Bible makes it clear—we were never meant to live disconnected lives.
In today's episode, Decluttering the Heart, we explore how hidden sin, shame, and things we refuse to surrender can crowd out the peace, joy, and freedom Christ desires for us. Join me as we open the door to our hearts and discover the healing that comes when we bring everything into His light.
So, what happens when the Bible doesn’t classify something specifically as sin? What do you do when the lines are blurred between right and wrong? Who decides? Well, friends, I have some good news! God has given us a moral compass to help us navigate through those gray areas of life. We just have to be willing to ask ourselves the hard questions. Are you ready? Let's jump into this week's podcast and learn more about how to find our true north.
