Topic 1: With the Gears spring quarter online major this weekend I wanted to give you a run down on some story lines and a background on some of the teams that will be competing this weekend.

Topic 2: Going into the T1 Valorant Invitational all anyone could talk about was team Sentinels given the fact it includes OW MVP Sinatra. As the event concluded all anyone could talk about was Gen-G, a young talented roster, that walked away as the victors and $25,000 richer.

Topic 1: Fortnite's Travis Scott event was truly spectacular. It is without question Epic Games knows how to put on some great in game events!

Topic 2: Valorant's ranked mode seems to be getting closer and closer to release. Most recently there was a leak of the 8 different types of ranks you could place in. Remember, we are only two weeks into the beta and Riot is already setting the bar high for competitive Valorant. On top of a ranked mode they are also implementing game changes and balances that the community is asking for. That is powerful in pushing towards Valorant's self goal of building the game around it's community. 

Topic 3: Is collegiate esports a good path to pro? I want to thank one of my listeners, Hunter, for suggesting this topic. It was a ton of fun to talk about!

It's no question Fortnite is in a bad position with its community right now. However, if you were to go back a year ago Epic Games was at the peak of the gaming world and at one point had a fantastic competitive community. Now we see several successful pros leaving to venture into Valorant or other titles. Fortnite is far from dying and is still the biggest battle royale title, but the competitive scene could be much stronger if Epic wouldn't have made some critical mistakes. With Riot Games release of Valorant, the viewership and hype is massive. Riot has the longest running esports league in history and that alone should propel Valorant as a flagship esports title in the future. As long as Riot avoids some of the mistakes from Epic while building its competitive scene Valorant should thrive. Taylor 'Reflections' Noble has the chance to speak with 'Sick Degenerate' and get some of his thoughts on where Epic could have helped its game and where Valorant could succeed.

Professionalism in esports has always found itself in a grey area. As more eyes are drawn to an increasing amount of events, professional gamers are having to think more and more about their attitude and the way they carry themselves while live. Taylor 'Reflections' Noble is joined by That1DanGuy to discuss this topic and whether or not Overwatch competitors Lastro and Rascal being charged $1k for inappropriate bantor in game chat was justified.
