Bio:

"M3M is a Los Angeles-based DJ who blends hard techno and queer electronic pop. M3M's sound, real name Marisa Marie Mathews, is inspired by the dark DTLA warehouse scene and the Berlin techno scene. Marisa believes that the BPM can never be too high. Pulsing, aggressive hard techno, distorted kicks, metallic percussion, and hints of acid are the building blocks of Marisa's sound. She loves: pots and pans banging together, whistles, and telephones ringing."

He is consistently digging deep in his library for that perfect record that properly fits the current space he’s in. “Kia Mosayeri aka key_method brings a fire to the sound systems he steps up to, letting a mix of dark and light erupt from his selections. Dance forward and driven by groove, he keeps a strong library ranging from old rave classics to the newer, more obscure house and techno flavors. Based in Austin, Texas after many years in the heart of San Francisco, key_method is serenading the dancers and lovers, pulling at all the heart strings and deep emotions as he hones his heavy club sound.”

Closing out the year strong, we welcome in Another Love out of Bogotá, Colombia, sending us off with dubby ambient textures and minimal techno bliss, enjoy!

“The vitality of club music acts as a conduit for his personal emotions and as a means to influence others. The spectrum of emotions he conveys - in his productions and DJ performances - ranges from reminiscence and vehemence to loneliness, sadness, melancholy and brutality, often merging darkness and light in sync as a genuine style of his artistic identity. In his singular path as an artist, Another Love deviates from standardized structures and, instead, focuses on emotional response.”

Joining the roster this month we have tarabyte with a stellar mix, captivating us with blends of driving grooves and trancey dancefloor magic, enjoy!

"Daizz, Daizz, Daizz. Better get used to seeing that name around.

Resident of Santa Cruz’s elusive Tide Swing underground crew, Daizz (aka Daisy when she’s not at the console) is on quite the trajectory these days. With recent bookings at esteemed parties like LA’s all-vinyl Sunday Sessions, to SF’s underground institution Sunset Campout, you would never guess that homegirl has only been mixing records for 2 years. A dip into any of her recent sets will take you from deftly selected classic cuts from the likes of Inland Knights and To-ka Project, to cutting-edge tech house from Philip Chernikov & Len Lewis, just to name a few. This girl’s got it."

We are pleased to present our thirteenth VA, keeping things short and sweet with a grooving four-tune release, enjoy!
