  • Jus Divinum: The Divine Right of Jesus Christ... - Audio
    Psalm 23
King Edward VI of England was one of the few examples of a Prince who understood the concept “Jus Divinum” (Divine Right) ... meaning, he understood God’s claim upon the throne of England. It is one thing for God’s people to enjoy and magnify the blessings Christ’s Death and Resurrection bring to us in this life, and in the life to come, but what about God’s Claim, His Right to make demand upon us for the benefits to His Name we bring as the direct consequences of the Cross of Jesus Christ?
Psalm 23 is most often understood for the comfort it brings and rightly so, because it is the Psalm that presents our Shepherd as our King. Knowing Jesus Christ as Savior is to know Him as King for salvation is the act of one in authority who interposes to bring deliverance against evil and the powers that destroy.
All throughout history, God has approached a people with His Word clearly delineating the kind of belief and ethics He expects from them for the life He gives them. He offers them the goodness of His Throne and the benefits of restoration and goodness. First there was the antediluvian version of the “Church.” The framework was different from the church of today but the calling, faith, salvation, law and ethic were the same (cf. Romans 15:4; Hebrews 11:1-5ff; II Peter 2; Jude 6-16). The antediluvians failed in their response to Jus Divinum and they fell away refusing to honor the shepherding of the Great King of the Universe. God came to the Semites declaring Himself “the God of Shem.” The Semites failed to respond well to Jus Divinum, refusing to honor the Shepherding of the Great King. The same was true with Israel and now it is us- the Church- spread throughout the entire earth. Will the Church embrace “Jus Divinum,” the Divine Right of God to Shepherd our walk and to bring glory through the Cross of His Son, Jesus Christ?

  • It Is Your Life: Due Diligence to Make Your Calling and Election Sure - Audio
Every book of the Bible has a different purpose. Genesis is a book of beginnings introducing dozens of doctrines, ethical issues exemplifying God’s will. Leviticus defines holiness. Proverbs is the "quick notes" to teaching and learning the Law of God. Matthew emphasizes Christ as King, Mark introduces Christ as Servant, Luke develops Christ as a man, and John develops Christ as God. Romans is heavily doctrinal. The Book of Revelation shows us the journey of the church through the ages since the time of Christ.
Likewise, the Book of Psalms, a surprisingly underrated book among people in the pews, teaches us how to pray; what God honors and responds to in our prayer life. Additionally, Paul tells us (cf Ephesians 5) as the church comes out of darkness (apostasy) one of the signs God raises up showing the awakening of the dead church is the use of the Book of Psalms.
The Book of Psalms teaches us our prayer life in worship. The book is pregnant with all the themes listed by Christ in the Lord’s Prayer (cf Matthew 6).
The Book of Psalms teaches us the kind of wording necessary to solve the dilemma: loving our enemies vs. imprecatory prayers against the enemies of righteousness. It takes us down the path of safely using God’s thoughts to approach the wicked, especially those identified in Psalms as vile (Hitler types who may not have Hitler’s war machine but have the kind of heart of a persecutor.) isn’t it much safer to use God’s words to indite the wicked before the throne of God rather than using your ruminations?
Imprecatory Psalms are designed to indite Satan’s emissaries using God’s words bringing suit against them, again in God’s words. God receives our prayers before His throne and weighs the justice of such indictements.
The Psalms according to Colossians 3 are also designed to teach us about our hearts, as we are presumptuous and even inconsistent in our walk with the Lord (cf Psalm 11:1).
Historically, when God awakens His church (cf Ephesians 5) from its apostate, deadened state, as today, the Book of Psalms is the sign God uses to teach the Law of the Lord arousing the church to Righteousness and Faith.
You’ll be surprised at the historical examples and Scriptures used throughout this message.

  • The Reason Christ Delays.... - Audio
Dr. Wayne Sedlak goes through a number of books in his library. Each one, arranged by different eras. represents something in history that took place... Something that one institution brought about in the earth. That institution? The Church of Jesus Christ. The mystery has great depth, not possible for sight to see.
The church is deemed to be nonessential because they cannot see her glory. The Church in America is lacking in understanding to the point people are willing to relinquish her on a Sunday morning.
In these books we see a woman who gets pregnant, a wife of a Divine Husband, and she bears children in different eras, each in which she is pregnant with a new world order, a phrase which Satan has taken and invents for himself so we become disgusted with the term and we turn away from the very thing we are supposed to be. There is a new world coming.
We begin with The History of the Christian Church by Philip Schaff (1819-1893) we find a book dedicated to describing a world not seen by the apostles and the church is the one that brought this era about. Pregnant with a worldview that brought it about, he authored one of the most important histories of the Christian church. His eight-volume work covers Christian history from the apostles to the Swiss Reformation. His work includes a discussion of ideas and ideals throughout the history of the church with the facts and figures for each period of history.
Lecky's History of European Morals was one of Mark Twain's favorite books, and influenced the writing of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Whole volumes dedicated to the change in morality. The church made the change. The woman, pregnant with another child when a whole new world opened up. But that world went into darkness...rejecting the Law of the Lord.
So as Psalm 107 states... they go down into the pit of unbelief...out of which will come Reformation. The book of Revelation tells us the Bride got pregnant again and brought forth many children in this birth.
Then a book by humanist Peter Bernstein, Against the Gods is a classic. This book is about how our perception of risk, especially with respect to decisions with financial outcomes, advanced (rather slowly) from ancient times to the present. He tells us the Christian Church changed the view of what risk was like... and of what would happen in the future.... The Great Protestant Reformation, that pregnant fruit which she bore in many different countries. and exported here to the continent.
George O'Brien The Economic Effects of the Protestant Reformation... talking about economic truths... this man is an enemy of the faith who cannot stand the fact the church speaks of economics. For the first time in history...creating a discipline of economics.
First published in 1732, The History of the Puritans has been a historical standard on the life and times of the Puritan fathers. In The History of the Puritans, the influence of the Puritans in England is carefully documented and traced over the course of over a hundred years, beginning with the time of Henry the VIII. Daniel Neal, a minister and historian, tracks the Puritans’ effects on politics and social change, resulting in a dynamic and contextual exploration of this time frame. This set is essential for understanding how the Puritans helped to shape England, as well as comprehending the key events and figures involved. The puritans changed the world... again...different from the one she begat previously...each growing in maturity and insight.
Nathaniel's Nutmeg, a brilliant adventure story of unthinkable hardship, savagery, the navigation of uncharted waters, and the exploitation of new worlds, Nathaniel's Nutmeg is a remarkable chapter in the history of the colonial powers. Authored by Giles Milton...He went around the world with the understanding that the church was not a conqueror as in guns and bombs, but she was a commercial genius.
A Defense of Liberty Against Tyrants, Vindiciae Contra Tyrannos: Of the Lawful Power of the Prince Over the People and of the People Over the Prince by Philippe de Mornay. sited by our forefathers... the woman pregnant again... begat a much more mature church, discipling at a much deeper level. Works like this questioned whether or not government could have its way. Cited by Washington, Patrick Henry and men at the constitutional convention.
The Printer's Trial...The Case of John Peter Zenger and the Fight for a Free Press. A Deacon, taught that the Press, as taught by the Law of God, must be free. No longer a young bride, she is now teaching deeper truths founded in God's Law. He took a stand in the court of law and said "Leave God's People Alone."
At the age of twenty-six, Calvin published several revisions of his Institutes of the Christian Religion, a seminal work in Christian theology that altered the course of Western history and that is still read by theological students today. It was published in Latin in 1536 and in his native French in 1541, with the definitive editions appearing in 1559 (Latin) and in 1560 (French). This work, built upon the understanding of the works before it. Millions read it. A mature understanding.
1800's... Dr. Archie Jones... Christianity in the Constitution...the Church responsible for creating the Constitution. The pulpits don't teach it anymore...
Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America... the real government in America is not the Constitution....The Real Government is the Church...no longer a teen bride... but a mature woman, teaching at a much more advanced level and the nations learn from her. The Mystery of the Church.
Dr Sedlak goes on to teach why Jesus is not coming soon, and he sights examples as to why this is the case. Many things must take place before He comes for His Bride.
