When our exaltation is entirely in the accomplishments of a crucified Christ then we are freed to no longer be enslaved by the selfish vanity of achieving our own exaltation. Php 2:9-11

Loving humility is not about trying to be so or even being told to do so, but it comes from forgetting about ourselves in the radical saving self-forgetfulness of Christ. Php 2:5-8

The glory of the gospel calls us to people and it does so by nothing less than the experiential graces of the gospel. Php 2:1-4

The call of the church centered on the gospel is to have a day-to-day framework driven, shaped and defined by the gospel. Php 1:27-30

When Christ Himself is at the center of the Christian solar system all other things fall into place. When Christ Himself becomes a thing among other things or becomes a means to some greater end, then all other good and needed things in the Christian solar system fall apart. Php 1:19-26

The gospel once again proves its central place in the church as it hijacks adversity and trial to serve its purposes to advance itself all the more. Php 1:12-18

The gospel of grace gives us privileges that are related to things that only the gospel can produce and that the truth of the gospel itself highlights as being essential for the Christian. Php 1:8-11
