These remarkable words of Christ should encourage the church today to attempt great things for Christ and ask great things of Him.

In a time of crisis, Jerusalem will not look to God. The lesson for us is that our security and success are not found in our own resources or activity, however necessary and prudent; nor in mere men, however good and wise.

A day of judgment is coming upon Jerusalem, the Valley of Vision, but the people are throwing a party. For their hard-hearted refusal to repent, there will be no atonement.
