The Lancaster County Commissioners recently voted to use over -4M in American Rescue Plan Act -ARPA- funds for -affordable housing- projects. The -350B in ARPA funds -supported by Democrats and Biden- distributed throughout the United States came after the -2.2T in CARES Act funds -supported by Democrats, Republicans, and Trump-. Instead of rejecting this money, Lancaster County accepted it and is now using it for, among other things, government-sponsored housing projects. Sturla and Smith-Wade-El were the two Democrat victors, according to unofficial results.
