The Rev. Dr. Joseph Boot wrote a thought-provoking article, entitled "COVID Calamity: When the Cure is Worse than the Disease." It is worth you time to read the article, available here: https://www.ezrainstitute.ca/resource-library/articles/covid-calamity-when-the-cure-is-worse-than-the-disease
The state of California wants to help women "stay on track" by murdering the babies of their students. This bill demonstrates the unbiblical view of the role of women that our society has adopted. Society is telling young women that their highest calling in life is to achieve educational, career, and societal success. For a woman who believes her highest calling is to achieve "social prestige and material success," having a baby is just about the worst thing that can happen to her. The state wants to help ensure women "stay on track" with the feminist agenda, thus offering to kill all their babies for them.
A school in the English city of Brighton and Hove has introduced gender badges to students to help them identify as a boy, a girl, or anything else. This is another attempt to solve the problem of gender confusion by re-ordering God's created order. The Bible teaches us to maintain the distinction between the genders, not blur them. R.J. Rushdoony saw this coming fifty years ago and today we must address this issue with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A recent news story from China relates how the government is willing to pay citizens reward money for turning in Christians and others involved in "illegal religious activity." This development reminds us that throughout church history, humanistic governments have often oppressed Christians. Why is this the case?
The United Kingdom, just like America, continues to abandon biblical law. In this case, the government thinks it is in charge of education. What is the Christian response to this view? Does the government have the authority to control or regulate education?
