In this episode, we brought in Naadhirah, a former student of Madrasah Al-Irsyad, to talk about her experiences moving from a madrasah system and into a secular system. We also discussed a lot about how she negotiated or find her identity amidst the change and how we can learn from it. 

In this episode, we invited Ummul Nazihah, an undergraduate from NUS with a very unique educational experience. She was from Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah from Primary 1 till the end of Pre-University. She is also the founder of @Snazk_snacks on Instagram where she sells bakes such as Basque Burnt Cheesecake and Tapak Kuda.

We talked about her experiences in a madrasah and how different it was being raised in such an environment. 

This is the first episode of the 'Madrasah Vs Secular' series also known as MVS. In this series, we share our individual experiences in a madrasah system and a secular system in Singapore. These opinions and perspectives come from our own experience and is not that of any particular group.

In this episode, Hakim and Nuha talked about their reflections on the past two episodes. In the past two episodes, they had invited non-Malay Muslims and had gained some valuable insights on how they should be interacting with their non-Malay counterparts. 

Today, we have Siddique Lim, an SMU undergraduate, who will be sharing with us his experiences as a Chinese Muslim and a convert in a community that is made up of a Malay-Muslim majority. In this episode, he shared stories of encounters he had with both Muslims and Non-Muslims and how he had navigated the path into being comfortable with his own identity.

In this episode, we sat down with Nusrat Jahan, a fresh graduate from NUS. We talked about her unique experiences as a Bengali Muslim living in a society of Muslims who are mostly Malays. Also, she shared with us stories from her past about how she navigated her way in this world being a minority of minorities.
