Vengeance, violence and bloodshed: it has a part in God's story. It is part of the parcel of redemption. We can't hide it, and in fact must acknowledge it to understand the cross of Christ.

The promise of Messiah, and accompanying promises for God's people, provokes productive and purposeful lives in His people.
