Be The Change is a new project that Carbon Calling are running. It focuses on three farmers - Sarah Bell, Alan Robinson and Liz Hargreaves. Specific farm plans are being created by working with lots of different organisation and people from within our community. We are doing a series of podcasts with the people involved.
For this month, we talk to Liz, and her husband Rob, Hargreaves, who farm in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire. We talk about the challenges of their system and what we are covering at their event on the 9th July. We also touch on the importance of balance within the ecosystem and who decides what species need to be controlled.
WARNING: There is a bit of swearing in this episode
