Pastor Matt teaches on a biblical understanding of the physical body. What does the Bible say about gender and sexuality? Ethnicity and diversity? Abortion and life? Identity and attraction? And why do our bodies even matter?

In this series, titled "Head, Heart, & Body: Connecting Them Through the Word and Spirit," Pastor Matt will be teaching about the theology of the mind, soul, and physical body, how to understand truth through scripture, and how we can apply it to our daily lives.

Happy Mother's Day! On this special day, we honor mothers by looking at God's plan for motherhood and the role mothers play; encourage would-be and surrogate mothers; and examine how sacred motherhood is as a beautiful (yet imperfect) picture of the Gospel.

This message focuses on the needs of children: the need to recognize the sanctity of life, the need for loving families, and the need for the church to intervene in unjust situations on their behalf. It also comes with a challenge and call to action from Foster the City, an organization that works to support foster children and families.

Pastor Matt reviews lessons learned from these past several weeks in our study of Daniel. Why bother studying prophecy? How do we interpret these obscure symbols and make sense of the historical context? What does it mean to have a "humble resolve?" He ends with a time of questions and response.

Have you ever experienced something that didn't turn out the way that you wanted? Nothing in this world is perfect. So this Easter Sunday, we remember not to look to anything in this world, but instead to the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt will be teaching from 1 Corinthians 15, which describes the people who witnessed Jesus after he had been resurrected, and Romans 5, which explains how reconciliation with God is possible through Jesus.

In these final two chapters of Daniel, we see the full vision mentioned in chapter 10: Of wars between Persia and Greece and the rise and fall of rulers; the Antichrist who will come in the End Times; and what will become of Israel during that period. Chapter 12 concludes with a promise to Daniel of a heavenly reward for his faithfulness. Though we may find ourselves in difficult situations, we can always look to God for hope!
