We're kind of back! We have had a very busy summer and wanted to talk about the games announced (or lack thereof) and what we've been up to! Cameron went to Scotland to search for the Loch Ness Monster! Normal episodes should resume by the end of August!

343 had big armor to fill as they took over for Bungie. They made some significant changes to this series, some good, some bad; but mostly, they wound up telling the most emotional Halo story to date. They might've later screwed it up with the sequels, but nothing tops the Chief and Cortana relationship here. Excuse us, there's something in our eyes.

Once upon a time, VR was a joke of a dream. We had visions of living in virtual game worlds, but nothing ever came close. However, things have started to change in the last decade and that reality is starting to look better and better. Who knows where the future will take us? But gosh dang it, we freaking excited to find out!

This episode was originally recorded within the week of the Last of Us Part II release (June 19, 2020) and aired on July 10, 2020.

SPOILERS AHEAD!
The Last of Us Part 2 just came out and it's just too big for us to ignore! So while you wait for Region Unlocked Season 2, check out what we thought of this game that we've all been eagerly awaiting for the past seven years. Cameron and Jake are going to talk through the game from start to finish and discuss all of the big emotional moments. We had a good time talking, but that doesn't necessarily mean that this game made us happy! Thanks for listening, and sorry that Cameron kind of steam-rolls most of the conversation!

All music is taken from the Last of Us Part 2 soundtrack.

Some games make you cry. This is one of them. The Last of Us is one of the most beautiful, cinematic, immersive, and emotionally impactful games ever made. If you don't believe us, you clearly haven't played it... which is a big problem!
This week, we are joined by Lauren Ewer as we dive into this masterpiece! We've got story, facts, and a great trivia game. Enjoy!
