  • Wake Up Tri-Counties Visitation Builder's Club Students Talk Food Drive, Toy Drive, and Hygiene Drive

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Builder's Club at Visitation Catholic School, under the guidance of Kiwanis Advisor Samantha Rux, is making waves with its charitable initiatives this festive season. Their ongoing Gordon Vickery Memorial Food Drive, which runs until December 19, is collecting canned goods for the Good Fellows Christmas Baskets. Simultaneously, the Kindergarten class is nearing the conclusion of their toy drive, supporting Patchy’s initiative, on December 6th.

In a heartwarming community effort, residents are contributing hygiene items and donations for teen bags as part of Patchy's Toy Drive. This initiative recently got a financial boost from winnings at the Good's Furniture Halloween Truck or Treat event. Looking ahead, excitement builds for the upcoming trivia night on December 14th, doubling as a fundraiser for the school. The event promises a festive twist with an ugly Christmas sweater contest, and participants can win prizes for the best ugly sweater. Meanwhile, the community is also gearing up for the lighted parade featuring a nativity scene with Visitation Students showcasing local spirit and charity.
