JD's alone for another week of misery while Em is living it up on an absolute stress free holiday where she is getting all the sleep and wine. Episode 13 of Regular Radio brings a brand new interview with Gold Coast Local Singer/Songwriter/Soloist Chris Hutchison aka. Hutch.
He's got a new track out and is going to be releasing a bunch more new music in months to come. We chatted about his life as a professional musician, juggling being a single dad and moving on from myspace.
Newsman has more news from Canberra. For those of you who are Pink Floyd fans, you'll want to listen to this!
And to wrap things up JD sprouts on about his favourite tracks from the episode and all the other music related things that have been going on since we last caught up.
You can listen to the Episode 13 Spotify Playlist HERE, where we store the best part of the podcast, the music.
We'll catch you next episode, Stay Regular.

Welcome to the twelfth episode of the Regular Radio Podcast. Em's still away, so we've got JD on his own, just being super lonely in the studio...or is he?
Joined by Jim Grey, lead vocalist of Australian Alternative Progressive band Caligula's Horse, be sure to check out JD's new favourite interview (and don't forget to check out Caligula's Horse's track Valkyrie on the Episode 12 Playlist, it's absolutely phenomenal.
Newsman is back with the latest in music news and a tribute to late Foo Fighter's drummer Taylor Hawkins RIP.
And to finish things off JD picks his top three tracks for the episode.
We'll catch you next episode, Stay Regular.

This episode is aptly named, 'The COVID Cut'. Not only did one of our interviewees have COVID at the time of recording his interview, but three days later and JD contracted it as well. Thus ruining all chances of a complete episode.
So what do we have in store for you for Episode 11???
Well, first up we've got an interview with Gold Coast Country Musician and Regular Radio Regular Mr Casey Barnes about his latest album, upcoming tours and more great opportunities for the artist.
Then we chatted with Sam Monty a phenomenal jazz artist from Wellington, New Zealand about his album, his writing process and the industry.
Newsman shows up with the latest in music news from Canberra, and that, unfortunately, wrapped up the episode as JD was waaaaay too sick to record any more.
So, in terms of picks of the week, be sure to check out Casey Barnes' latest 'Light it Up', Sam Monty's 'She Sells Seashells on the Seashore' and also, Mass Sky Raid's track 'Arrows' on our Episode 11 Playlist HERE.
We'll be back and COVID free for Episode 12 of Regular Radio.

It's huge!!! And it's Em's last for a while...this episode that is.
On Episode 10 of the Regular Radio Podcast we interview Gold Coast outfit Vallies, not to be confused with the Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons Tribute band "The" Vallies. No these guys are way cooler. We head down to Canberra for Newsman and the latest in Regular Radio news for something that'll knock your knees and have you crying all the time.
Finally, JD and Em have an extended chat about what's happening in the music industry right now, including some restrictions being removed from certain Australian states that should kick things up a knotch.
Don't forget to check out the Episode 10 Spotify Playlist HERE, for all the musical goodness to accompany this episode.
Stay Regular,
JD & Em.

What a fortnight...I think it's safe to say Em and JD were completely buggered following this episode recording. With one heavily pregnant, the other just tired AF, followed by the usual slew of computers not working properly causing a very slight delay in the release of the episode (only by about an hour). But, we pulled it together and have some great content as usual including our feature interview with Perth, WA band 'Stone Cold Super Friends', Newsman in to chat about Joe Rogan, Spotify and Neil Young, and we finish with JD & Em losing control slowly over a solid chat about who knows what.
Don't forget to check out our official website.
And of course our Episode 009 Spotify Podcast Playlist HERE.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year period, and got all the rest you need heading into another year of pandemics and pandemonium.
This episode we interview Gold Coast Solo Artist Amy Elise (who happened to be you know what positive and isolating at the time). Amy's song "Such a Shame" can be found, along with all the other great tracks from this episode's Spotify Playlist right....HERE.
Newsman popped up to Queensland for his holidays and joined us in the studio for the first time in a bloody long time. He's got plenty to tell you about Guns & Roses so tune in for that.

Another great interview post-gig at Vinnie's Dive Bar on the Gold Coast following an impromptu but amazing set from Melbourne band Unlucky. JD & Em thoroughly enjoyed the sights and sounds that Southport had to offer at 11pm on a Friday. Enjoy the soundtrack to the Gold Coast that you never knew you needed. Complete with drunken bogans, smashing bottles, meth heads and the tram. Oh, and of course a couple of great blokes from a killer band giving us their time.
