On this episode of Rehash, we’re talking with LDF, Chief gm Officer of the Open Metaverse.
With roots in tech, marketing, and gaming, and former spots at Facebook and Reddit, LDF stumbled into web3 several years ago. She wasn’t initially drawn in by the financial aspect, but NFTs certainly managed to spark her interest. LDF saw blockchain, along with its decentralized toolset, as an opportunity to create new monetization models that could truly enable the ownership economy.
During our chat LDF speaks on the future of work, the unique path she took into web3, and the roles that memes play in our lives, both online and off. We also cover the many potential use cases of NFTs, gaming, the creator economy, learning in public, promoting diversity in web3, and the open metaverse.

On this episode of Rehash, we’re talking with Abe Uccello, founder of Pris0n Art. Abe has an interesting professional past, having worked in tech and later serving as the Director of the Florida Department of Corrections. His time in these spaces gave him a unique perspective on how emerging tech, like web3, could be used to bring about positive change for incarcerated individuals.
This led Abe to spin up Pris0n Art - an organization that helps those coming out of the prison system pay their legal fees through the creation and sale of NFTs. Around 30% of felons land back in prison due to their inability to pay these fees, leading to a vicious cycle that it’s easy to see but difficult to climb out of. Pris0n Art works with the incarcerated to help them tell their stories through art, sell that art as NFTs, and use those funds to pay their debt. Instead of coming out of prison with a mountain of debt, Pris0n Art helps to ease that process and give them a real shot at getting back on their feet.
During our conversation we also discuss mental health, how DAOs could increase access to supportive networks, other use cases of NFTs, the power of composability, and more.

On this episode of Rehash, we’re chatting with Loop Crypto co-founder, Eleni Steinman. After working for the federal government, Eleni went to business school in hopes of starting a business of her own. Once she was there, she stumbled across the Bitcoin whitepaper and fell down the crypto rabbit hole, eventually moving to Chicago to get her foot in the crypto industry door.
After working in the space for several years, Eleni took the leap and co-founded a project to solve a problem that she and her peers found themselves constantly running into. That problem was the lack of auto payment and subscription options in the crypto space, and the answer was Loop Crypto.
Eleni tells us all about the goals and plans of Loop, from streamlining SaaS subscription payments for DAOs to making crypto donations and loans easier than ever and much more. We also get into the future use cases of Loop, talk about music NFTs and ticketing, the state of crypto security, and discuss the role of regulation in the web3 space.
