Frank gets a variety of questions from attendees from the Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation. One question which keeps popping up is "Can I use the Reid Technique outside of my normal job?"

In other words how can someone use the Reid Techniques concepts and tactics outside of the structured interview and interrogation?

The short answer is YES and NO. You can apply certain concepts of the Reid Technique, such as "treat the subject with dignity and respect" and other practices such as behavior analysis (to an extremely limited degree).
