Innovative and Thrilling Adventure!!!!!!
Reign of the Night Creatures (The Everafter Chronicles)I went to Casey Sean Harmon's release party for his first book and didn't realize it was for children, but I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so I stayed and then checked out the book. I thought about it for a day, then purchased it. This book is brilliant!!!! Adventure reigns in this mystical novel. The Peterson children, Sean, Charlotte and Susan are transported into an adventure that you can only dream about!!! It's action packed with pirates, monsters, and all sorts of creatures that are just amazing, fun and leads them on a journey like no other!!! I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. I read a lot and new authors, I always check out reviews, Sean didn't have many, but the cover drew me in!!! This is a modern story of 3 children with a great story to tell. Fast paced and exhilarating!!! James, Charlotte and Susan have quests to solve and journeys to get through that will amaze you. This isn't just a book for a child, it's a great book that tells a story and you just want to be a part of that story and be a child again!!! I can't give this book more then 5 stars, but I'd rate it a 10 easily!!! I only hope that this journey continues!!!! It's not to be compared to The Chronicles of Narnia or even Harry Potter. Sean Casey Harmon took his own imagination and created a book worthy of a movie!!! I loved the characters, laughed out loud, cringed when I didn't know if they were going to make it out of a situation!! I became so engrossed in this book I lost track of all time and kept the TV off just so I could enjoy each and every moment of this book!! You'll fall in love with these kids and the way they use common sense against stupid pirates or other situations.
