  • Choice
    • Sense of control over what is happening 
    • The freedom of choosing 
    • Agency 
  • Connection
    • Sharing your accomplishments 
  • Competence
    • Feeling yourself grow and excel 
    • Creates energy that allows you to move forward


When you have all three components working together in a healthy way it produces joy
