Janetta is a Georgia native now living in Raleigh, NC. She is the wife of Ade and mom of Kennedy, Avery, and Bayo. She has a strong heart for the local church and has been working in that context for 12 years. Janetta currently serves as the Creative Arts Director at The Summit Church and has a Masters in Human Services Counseling with a focus on Christian Ministries from Liberty University. 

She also owns a lot of plants. A lot.

Today we welcome Mike Young to the podcast.  

Mike is Founder of Noble Warriors, a ministry that began in 2005, and has a passion to see men grow, serve and lead as godly men.  Today Mike leads this ministry to serve churches as they equip men to walk with Christ and lead well. 

He also serves as the President of the National Coalition of Ministries to Men and is a member of the Iron Sharpens Iron Network and the Fatherhood CoMission. 

Mike and his wife, Stacy, have three sons (Tim who is married to Caroline, Zach, Ben) and a daughter (Hannah).

Alastair is the lead Pastor of St Peters Fireside Anglican Church in Vancouver British Columbia. He is a leader in Church Planting for the Anglican Church Planting Network, Canada.

Alastair earned his Masters in Biblical Studies degree from Asbury Theological and his Doctorate from intercultural studies from Fuller  Theological. He is the author of Rhythms of Life: Spiritual Practices for Who God Made You to Be. Alastair resides in Vancouver and  is married and the father of two daughters.

This week on the show we welcome, Dr. Diane Langberg, to the podcast to talk about power and the Church.

Dr. Langberg is globally recognized for her 47 years of clinical work with trauma victims. She has trained caregivers on six continents in responding to trauma and to the abuse of power. She also directs her own counseling practice in Jenkintown, PA.  Dr. Langberg’s newest book is Redeeming Power: Understanding Authority and Abuse in the Church.  

Dr. Langberg is co-leader of the Global Trauma Recovery Institute housed at Biblical Theological Seminary. She is on the board of G.R.A.C.E. (Godly Response to Abuse in a Christian Environment). She serves as Co-Chair for American Bible Society’s Trauma Advisory Council. 

She is married and has two sons and four grandchildren

When he is not working with teams on ideas, marketing, music, leadership, organization and volunteer development, he hosts several podcasts, develops ideas, coaches creatives, and hangs out in downtown Franklin, TN where the Brewster family calls home .

Sali and her husband Jeff are both lawyers and own the Duling Law Firm in Hanover County. Together they focus their work on trusts and estates, elder law, non-profits, business and commercial law and taxation. The Duling approach is to build relationships with their clients so that they can not only clearly communicate legal knowledge but be more effective counselors and passionate advocates.
Sali is a graduate of the University of Georgia undergraduate and Post Graduate Studies and a graduate of Regent University Law. Sali is both licensed in Virginia and Georgia. Sali and her husband Jeff have two children and live in Hanover County Va.
