Paul Buitink of Reinvent Money hosts a panel about a new financial world order based on multiple currencies. It's organized by Cosmolab, part of the China Knowledge Network, a Dutch think tank financed by the Dutch government amongst others.
Kathleen Tyson, a former central banker, plumber of global liquidity, founder of Pacemaker Global and author of the book Multicurrency Mercantillism gives her view on this new monetary order in which the dollar will just be one of the currencies used. Due to conflicts and sanctions applied by the West, several countries, some of them part of BRICS+, are building this new order. She explains why trading of goods and services will first be done in local currencies, whilst the rest of the financial system (such as credit and capital markets) will follow later. She laments the role of Western media when it comes to reporting correctly about this new order. She is a big proponent of national sovereignty, free trade and prosperity.
Also part of the panel are Paolo Balmas, Financial Geographer, and Johannes Petry, philosopher.
