Eddie Murphy's Mr. Robinson is a diamond in the rough as most of this episode flops. A running gag about the show Dallas leads to Charles Rocket getting shot. He responds by getting everybody fired.

This week's lows include an overlong Tennessee Williams Authority sketch and a failed attempt to give Eddie Murphy a weekend update-Style anchor role with a disastrous Polish joke. But the episode is almost redeemed by Big Brother, one of the standout sketches of the season. Scott and Kyle are watching, just like Big Brother. This week SNL wants you to know how tough it is for the returning Iranian hostages…while harassing returning Iranian hostages. But the show is at its funniest when it thinks it's not being funny.

Kyle and Scott look through the mess to find a few hidden gems.
