"Is thinness the goal or is freedom the goal?" Join me as my friend, Rachel Kulcsar and I examine the stories we believe about our bodies, debunking the messages of diet culture and learning how to be truly free.
We don’t have the answers, but we want to pull back the curtain on our journeys to reject the narrative that tells us smaller is better. We ask questions about what it means to care for and honor the bodies we’re in—without succumbing to the shame and self-condemnation that’s normalized, especially among women, in our culture.
Rachel is a writer, a leader, and a fierce defender of truth in the lives of the people around her. Whether she’s serving women in her church community, investing in teenagers (her own and others), or helping entrepreneurs think strategically about their businesses, Rachel has a unique ability to help people see their circumstances with greater clarity, wisdom, and compassion. She believes deeply in the power of vulnerability and models it for others by embodying the practice of “going first” as she invites others to tell the truth about their own lives.
