Romans 10:17 says, 'So then faith comes from hearing, and hearing the word of God.' It is that same word of God, that is the very medicine needed for a person's life, particularly in the life of someone dealing with Autism, Aspergers and OCD.  The bible tells us in Proverbs 17:22 'A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.' We must be mindful of our attitudes and not accept defeat in our circumstances.  God's life-giving word tells us, to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1Thess 5:16-18). 

God is faithful to keep His promises; we are to not quench the Spirit, or despise prophecies, but rather test all things; holding fast to what is good (1Thess 5:19-21).
