Paul the apostle explained to the Christians at Philippi, "The only thing that matters is that your way of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ." We have the same calling, since we belong to the same Lord. In humility the Lord Jesus became as we are, so that we might become as he is. It's his grace that makes us citizens of heaven, and it's the same grace that changes us from the inside out, replacing our anger with patience, our anxiety with peace, our selfishness with generosity, our rivalry with love, our division with unity, and our sorrow with joy.
