Cs: Podzimní vítr jemně povíval lístky na stromě, když slunce pozlatilo krajinu českého venkova.
En: The autumn wind gently rustled the leaves on the tree, as the sun gilded the landscape of the českého countryside.

Cs: Jakub s Lenkou seděli v autě a vyrazili na cestu k vesnickému jarmarku.
En: Jakub and Lenka sat in the car and set off on a journey to the village fair.

Cs: Byli sourozenci, avšak po poslední hádce se mezi nimi objevila propast.
En: They were siblings, but after their last argument, a chasm had opened between them.

Cs: Lenka seděla na sedadle spolujezdce, oči plné naděje.
