Ru: Снежным зимним утром Алексей стоял перед величественными воротами Зимнего дворца в Санкт-Петербурге.
En: On a snowy winter morning, Aleksei stood before the majestic gates of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.

Ru: Вокруг дворца развевались ледяные ветра, но внутри царила праздничная атмосфера.
En: Icy winds swirled around the palace, but inside there was a festive atmosphere.

Ru: Повсюду мерцали огоньки гирлянд, а комнаты освещались теплым светом.
En: Lights from garlands twinkled everywhere, and the rooms were illuminated with warm light.
