Cs: Podzimní listí se míhalo kolem nohou Radky, jak kráčela k bráně Vyšehradské pevnosti.
En: Autumn leaves fluttered around Radka's feet as she walked towards the gate of the Vyšehrad fortress.

Cs: Bylo chladné odpoledne, ale slunce občas vykouklo mezi mraky a zalilo celou Prahu měkkým světlem.
En: It was a chilly afternoon, but the sun occasionally peeked out from behind the clouds and bathed all of Prague in a soft light.

Cs: Radka nervózně potáhla šálu kolem krku a zastavila se, aby se podívala na staré kamenné zdi, které jí vždy připadaly tak majestátní.
En: Radka nervously adjusted her scarf around her neck and paused to look at the old stone walls, which always seemed so majestic to her.

Cs: Dnes se však zdály být plné vzpomínek, které tížily její srdce.
En: Today, however, they felt full of memories that weighed on her heart.

Cs: Marek se objevil za ní tiše jako stín.
En: Marek appeared behind her as silently as a shadow.

En: "Oh, Marek, I'm glad to see you," Radka replied, her voice as faint as the autumn wind.

En: They both stood still for a moment, as if they didn't know how to proceed.

Cs: Vyšehrad byl místem, kam chodili s Markovým otcem často.
En: Vyšehrad was the place they often visited with Marek's father.

Cs: Bylo to místo, kde se cítili doma, kde sdíleli chvíle radosti i klidu.
En: It was a place where they felt at home, where they shared moments of joy and peace.

Cs: Radka si vzpomněla na Marekovy dětské výkřiky radosti, když běhal po hradbách.
En: Radka remembered Marek's childhood cries of joy as he ran along the ramparts.

Cs: Dnes však bylo vše jiné.
En: But today, everything was different.

Cs: Ticho bylo těžké a plné nevyřčených slov.
En: The silence was heavy and full of unspoken words.

Cs: "Procházka?"
En: "A walk?"

Cs: navrhla Radka a Marek jen kývl.
En: suggested Radka, and Marek just nodded.

Cs: Šli pomalu po cestičce kolem hřbitova, kde odpočívala spousta slavných českých osobností.
En: They walked slowly along the path by the cemetery, where many famous Czech personalities rested.

Cs: Radka se snažila najít slova, něco, co by prolomilo led mezi nimi.
En: Radka tried to find words, something that would break the ice between them.

Cs: Nakonec to bylo místo samo, které jí pomohlo.
En: In the end, it was the place itself that helped her.

Cs: "Pamatuješ si, když jsme tady byli naposledy s tátou?"
En: "Do you remember the last time we were here with dad?"

Cs: začala, zrak upírala na oblohu.
En: she began, her gaze fixed on the sky.

Cs: "Byl podzim, jako dnes.
En: "It was autumn, like today.

Cs: Divili jsme se, jak jsou stromy krásné."
En: We marveled at how beautiful the trees were."

Cs: Marek se zastavil a pohlédl na svou matku.
En: Marek stopped and looked at his mother.

Cs: V očích měl bolest, ale také něco, co připomínalo zájem.
En: In his eyes was pain, but also something that resembled interest.

Cs: "Bylo to tady, co mě táta naučil barvy listí," řekl tiše.
En: "It was here that dad taught me the colors of the leaves," he said quietly.

Cs: Radka kývla.
En: Radka nodded.

Cs: "Ano, a jak se jmenovaly všechny druhy stromů tady kolem.
En: "Yes, and the names of all the types of trees around here.

Cs: Měl to tak rád," pokračovala s úsměvem, i když cítila, jak jí srdce bolí.
En: He loved it so much," she continued with a smile, although she felt her heart ache.

Cs: "Vždy o tom mluvil s takovým zápalem."
En: "He always talked about it with such passion."

Cs: Chvíli stáli v tichosti, jen šustění listí kolem nich a vzdálený hukot města připomínal přítomnost.
En: They stood in silence for a while, only the rustling of leaves around them and the distant hum of the city reminded them of the present.

Cs: Radka se podívala na svého syna, viděla ho teď jinak.
En: Radka looked at her son, seeing him differently now.

Cs: Byl tam mladý muž, který ztratil otce, stejně jako ona manžela.
En: There stood a young man who had lost a father, just as she had lost a husband.

Cs: "Je mi líto, že jsem tu nebyla dost," řekla Radka pomalu.
En: "I'm sorry I wasn't there enough," Radka said slowly.

Cs: "Byla jsem zavalená vším, co se stalo.
En: "I was overwhelmed by everything that happened.

Cs: Ale nechci tě znovu ztratit."
En: But I don't want to lose you again."

Cs: Marek sklopil hlavu, pak k ní vzhlédl.
En: Marek lowered his head, then looked up at her.

Cs: "Taky jsem nebyl spravedlivý, mami," přiznal napůl šeptem.
En: "I wasn't fair either, mom," he admitted in half a whisper.

Cs: "Potřebujeme jeden druhého."
En: "We need each other."

Cs: Vyšehradské zdi byly svědky jejich tichého usmíření.
En: The Vyšehrad walls witnessed their silent reconciliation.

Cs: Stáli spolu na vyhlídce, koukali na Prahu, její mosty a řeky.
En: They stood together on the overlook, gazing at Prague, its bridges, and rivers.

Cs: Oba věděli, že cesta zpátky k sobě bude těžká, ale první krok už udělali.
En: Both knew that the journey back to each other would be hard, but they had taken the first step.

Cs: "Dáme si kávu?"
En: "Shall we have some coffee?"

Cs: zeptala se Radka, když se začalo stmívat.
En: Radka asked as it began to darken.

Cs: "Ano, rád," odpověděl Marek s malým úsměvem.
En: "Yes, I'd love that," Marek replied with a small smile.

Cs: Otočili se a pomalu odcházeli z Vyšehradu, svět se zdál krásnější než předtím.
En: They turned and slowly left Vyšehrad, the world seemed more beautiful than before.

Cs: Slíbili si, že si budou volat, trávit spolu více času.
En: They promised to call each other, to spend more time together.

Cs: Našli důvod, proč pokračovat, spolu.
En: They found a reason to continue, together.

Cs: Byl to začátek něčeho nového, tam mezi starými zdmi a pod zlatavým deštěm podzimních listů.
En: It was the beginning of something new, there among the old walls and under the golden rain of autumn leaves.

Cs: Vyšli spolu do podzimního večera, připraveni čelit všem zákoutím života bok po boku.
En: They stepped out into the autumn evening, ready to face all of life's twists and turns side by side.
