Lv: Sniegs klusi krita virsulesēdamiem kokiem, īstajā Ķemeru Nacionālā parka sirdī.
En: The snow quietly fell on the tree tops in the heart of Ķemeri National Park.

Lv: Tur, starp augstajiem priežu stumbriem, Jānis nosala rokās, kamēr gaidīja savu māsu Ilzi un brāli Mārtiņu.
En: There, among the tall pine trunks, Jānis grew cold in his hands while waiting for his sister Ilze and brother Mārtiņš.

Lv: Viņa elpa veidoja miglas mākoņus gaisā, atgādinot par aukstumu un klusumu, kas nu jau gadu šķīra viņus kā ģimeni.
En: His breath formed misty clouds in the air, reminding him of the cold and silence that had separated them as a family for a year now.
