This presentation was purchased by Butte College for use in the Ethics module of my courses. You will hear a situation that any of us might find ourselves in on any given day, and listen to the studio audience discussion about the right and wrong aspects of the situation. To quote the ethics expert, "Ethics is doing the right thing, even when you have to pay a higher price than you want to pay". Listen and consider what you would do in this situation and apply the discussion points to past situations you have faced.

Too many times people are promoted to leadership positions because they are good at the tasks of their front line job. This does not, however, mean a person has leadership skills. To make the situation even more challenging, many people do not benefit from leadership training. They are told to figure it out as they go, or told they will be temporary until someone is hired - and that can go on for year.

Today's professional is wise to be prepared to share quality content through your phone, tablet, or laptop. From the field or from your office, sharing information with your team or customers is a core skills for many of us.

Unfortunately, too many people are using email for this function, and the content is often lost to future employees. Instead, train your team to create short presentations and establish a training library of content for your department or company. 

Establish a naming convention for your presentations and require everyone follow it. This makes it easy to search presentations and key words.
