The broken world we are engaging with needs us to be of robust character. We need to focus on being the right kind of people, rather than planning the right kind of strategies. So what kind of people do we need to be?

The ripples caused by rejecting a relationship with God are felt most keenly in the relational realm. The misunderstandings and fall-outs between parents, children, friends, siblings, colleagues, team-mages, pastors etc is excruciatingly painful, confusing and damaging to the soul. What a privilege to be called as ministers of reconciliation! Blessed are the peacemakers, said Jesus - they will be called sons of God.

This seminar encourages us as a prophetic people to hear and catch the heart of God in helping people. Mike and Angela discuss how we hear God in our particular place of influence, and how we can use the prophetic and other gifts to reach our broken world.

How can you be a Daniel or Joseph figure in your workplace? In this seminar, Prof Pereira, a Christian surgeon, shares his experience of faith and vision in raising the quality of patient care at both a national and international level.

Growing up in a world of broken families, broken identities, broken relationships, broken dreams and broken aspirations, their future is at stake. In what way can the church be good news for them? This seminar looks at how those who work with children on a daily basis - teachers, mums and dads, family workers, children's ministry leaders - bring light into their broken worlds to make their future brighter.

For the past seven years the Community Church in Chafford Hundred has been attempting to serve the young people in its local community. The church now works in four schools, has a full-time schools' worker and runs a number of community-based projects. This seminar plots the journey and draws out a number of insights and principles learnt along the way.
