  • Love on the Edge: Navigating BPD, Relationships and Sexual Wellness

In this episode of Relationship Factor, Kingsley chats with Registered Psychotherapist and founder of “Mind Over Borderline” Melanie Goldman to explore what it means to love and be loved by someone living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Melanie offers a compassionate approach at understanding how BPD traits can manifest in relationships and impact intimacy, conflict and sexual connection.

Borderline Personality Disorder relationships often have a "push and pull" dynamic which can be very overwhelming for both partners involved. Beneath this intense dynamic, however, are very human needs for safety, closeness and understanding.

This episode challenges the stigma and stereotypes associated with Borderline Personality Disorder. Melanie reminds us that with the right support and relational tools, meaningful and fulfilling relationships are possible.

Whether you identify with BPD yourself, love someone who does, or are simply curious about the dynamics of intense relationships, this episode offers insight, compassion, and hope.

  • Your Body, Your Story: Pregnancy, Postpartum & Rewriting the Narrative Around Women’s Bodies

So many women feel immense pressure to “bounce back” after having a baby — to return to a previous version of themselves as if pregnancy never happened. Kingsley chats with Confidence Coach, Alyssa McMasters to explore the evolving relationship many women have with their bodies after pregnancy. Alyssa asks us to challenge the notion that a woman’s body needs fixing after pregnancy. What if the season of motherhood is less about changing your body and more about allowing it to exist as it is?

Kingsley and Alyssa unpack the societal expectations placed on women’s bodies following pregnancy and the quiet shame that can grow when these changes go unspoken. Alyssa shares how adopting a mindset of neutrality can help women reclaim control over postpartum insecurities and move toward a more grounded and confident sense of self.

  • Knots & Connections: Inclusivity in Rope Bondage

New Episode: Knots & Connections — Inclusivity in Rope Bondage (with Sacred Ties)

How do you make rope spaces safer, smarter, and radically welcoming? In this conversation, Kingsley sits down with Sacred Ties (Lorena & Derek) to unpack inclusive, trauma-informed rope bondage—from consent and accountability to accessibility for different bodies, abilities, and histories. • Burnout, Belief & Becoming

What happens when exhaustion collides with faith—and what does recovery look like on the other side? Kingsley is joined by Fred & Taku to explore burnout through the lenses of relationships, spirituality, and everyday family life. Drawing on clinical social work practice and lived parenting experience, they unpack the signs we miss, the beliefs that keep us stuck, and the practices that actually help us heal. We talk emotional honesty in faith communities; holding anger, grief, and desire without shame; and the skills of repair—empathy, accountability, courageous communication—that strengthen connection.

You’ll learn: early warning signs of burnout, how beliefs shape stress responses and relationships, and practical rhythms for recovery (boundaries, rest, repair) with a faith-inclusive lens.

What does healing look like where gender, migration, labour rights, and mental health intersect? In this powerful conversation, Kingsley sits down with Samu Ngwenya Tshuma—a policy consultant and women’s rights advocate—to unpack the systems that drive gender-based violence (GBV) and the evidence-based practices that help prevent it. Samu has consulted for the UN Spotlight Initiative, the UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty & Human Rights, and the International Labour Organization (ILO), with a focus on evidence-based policymaking and scaling what works to eliminate GBV.
